How often should I book True Plasma Transformation treatments?

- I recommend a minimum of 2 back to back treatments scheduled 8-12 weeks apart
- After that, just simply book when you see crepiness or laxity creeping back in!

What to expect:

In order to track your progress and results, you will be required to take before & after photos approximately 4 weeks apart. I recommend booking in a recovery facial so we can get any remaining "dots" and dead skin build-up and infuse your skin with growth factors and exosomes.
You'll be offered the opportunity to book in a free "touchup" session 3 days after your treatment. Photos will also be taken at this appointment.
During treatment you will have time to numb - bring a book!
During treatment, numbing will be removed and we will outline the treatment area to ensure precise results
Each "dot" may feel like a zap or pinch - even with numbing
This treatment does require approximately 1-2 weeks of recovery time - see below
Results vary and, depending on how many session and how you treat your skin, can last up to 5 years!

Prep For My True Plasma Transformation:

- Prep with pigment inhibitors & retinoids for 1 - 3 weeks before your appointment - I can make some recommendations for you
- Discontinue retinoids & acids for 1 week before your treatment
- Avoid sun exposure & injections (tox/filler) for 1 week before your treatment
- Do not consume excessive amounts of caffeine or alcohol prior to treatment (the day before or the day-of)
- Do not take aspirin prior to your treatment

Recovery

- Up to 3 days of intensive recovery where you'll look red/pink and will feel windburned/raw. During this time you'll avoid "sun, heat, wet & sweat" so no saunas, hot tubs, hot showers, the gym, sun exposure, pools, etc... you'll want to treat your skin as though you have an open wound because... you do!
- Up to 14 days of light recovery where you'll still try to avoid the sun, wear sunscreen even when indoors and wear a hat when outdoors. You can reintroduce your gym routine but keep it light. During this time DO NOT PICK at "dots" as doing so can lead to scarring.
- Use gentle recovery products formulated with growth factors and/or exosomes - I'm happy to recommend my favorites!

How should I maintain my True Plasma Transformation results?

- Monthly regenerative treatments such as microneedling and peels
- Skincare products with vitamin c, retinoids, growth factors and exosomes
- LED devices designed for at-home use a couple of times per week

DOES MICRONEELDING HAVE A RECOVERY PERIOD? Yes! Here's what to expect:

Up to 3 days of intensive recovery where you'll look red/pink and will feel windburned/raw. During this time you'll avoid "sun, heat, wet & sweat" so no saunas, hot tubs, hot showers, the gym, sun exposure, pools, etc... you'll want to treat your skin as though you have an open wound because... you do!
Up to 5 days of light recovery where you'll still try to avoid the sun, wear sunscreen even when indoors and wear a hat when outdoors. You can reintroduce your gym routine but keep it light, you don't want to increase your circulation too much or get too hot. During this time DO NOT PICK at "purge pimples" or any peelies; doing so can lead to scarring.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I BOOK MICRONEEDLING TREATMENTS? That depends on your goals.

Maintenance: Book once a month to once every 3 months
Corrective: Book every 2 to 4 weeks pending the direction of your Licensed Professional Aesthetician

HOW MANY MICRONEEDLING TREATMENTS SHOULD I DO? We recommend a series of 4 treatments to start, as the results are cumulative in nature.

AT WHAT AGE SHOULD I BEGIN MICRONEEDLING? We recommend starting between 25 to 30 for maintenance of collagen. If you have early signs of aging, acne or scarring, your Licensed Professional Aesthetician may recommend you begin as early as 18 but likely we'd begin with a few MicroPeel facials or BioNeedling facials first.

WHAT TYPES OF PRODUCTS SHOULD I USE TO SUPPORT MY MICRONEEDLING TREATMENTS? For recovery, you'll want to use gentle products and no acids or exfoliators for the week after your treatment. We also like to incorporate Copper Peptides and a lipid soluable Vitamin C for both recovery and skin health in between treatments! We also like to introduce Retinol into our routines in between treatments as well. Those ingredients are the best at producing collagen and helping to manage inflammation and acne! We're happy to set out our favorites for you to purchase when you come in for your treatment!
